Jhoola festival or Hindola Utsav, also known as Swing festival, is the most beautifully celebrated festival in Sri Krishna temples. In Vrindavan Banke Bihariji Temple, Jhoola festival 2011 date is August 2. This is a month-long festival in most of the temples dedicated to Lord Krishna and Jagannath. It is celebrated on Haryali Teej day (third day in Krishna Paksha of Shravan month).

In Puri Jagannath Mandir, Jhula Festival or Jhulan Yatra is celebrated for 5 days which begins on August 9 and ends on August 13, 2011. In all Gaudiya Matha temples, Jhulana Yatra (Swing festival) begins on August 9 and ends on August 12 in 2011. In ISKCON Bangalore, Jhulan Utsava 2011 dates are – from August 10 to August 13. In some temples Jhulan Utsav is celebrated for 13 days.
