Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore is one of the powerful Astadasha Shakti Peetha, 18 prominent temples of Mother Goddess. Chamundi is the fierce form of Goddess Durga who is very similar to Maha Kali or Bhadrakali. During Navratri, Goddess Chamundeshwari devi is worshipped in 9 different alankara. The temple of Chamundeshwari located on the hillock called Chamundi Hills near Mysore.
