Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has opened 24hrs (round the clock) Helpline Control Room on June 15,2012 to facilitate the Amarnathji Yatris undertaking Amarnath Yatra which starts from June 25,2012. The Control Room has been setup in the office of Chief Executive Office of the Shrine Board. Amarnath Yatris or any person can seek any type of information about the forthcoming of the Amarnath Yatra 2012.

In addition to the Helpline Control Room facility, the Shrine Board has been upgraded the Weather Forecasting System to know the weather condition during Amarnath Yatra.The Meteorological Department of India has installed 3 Advance Weather System (AWS) at Sheshnag, Panjtarni and Holy Cave and also installing Weather Display Boards at Baltal and Nunwan Base camps for the benefit of Amarnathji Yatris proceeding the Amarnath Yatra 2012.
