Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam TTD has all set to celebrate the Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavam at the temple of Lord Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy in Srinivas Mangapuram from June 24,2012 to June 26,2012 in a grand way.Every year this annual festival will be celebrated on Ashada Sudda Shasti Day (June/July) for three days.
Significance of Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavam:
According to Historical evidences , dated 22nd March 1540A.D.the Temple was brought to Worship by doing Jeernodaara by Chinni Thirumalacharyulu, the grandson of great saint Sri Talapaka Annamacharylu. In 1940A.D. an Archaka Swamulu by name Sundararaju from Tamilnadu to Srinivasa Mangapuram. He shared his dream with villagers by saying that in his dream Lord Vekateswara Swamy appeared and asked him to bring the temple to Past Vaibhavam(glorious) by performing Deepa Naivedya Aaradhana and Lord disppeared. As per the Lord words, Archaka Swami Sundaraju performed first pooja on July 1940 which was coincided on Ashada Suddu Shasti Day with the help of village elders.To mark the auspicious day of revival of Nitya Pooja Kaikaryam, TTD has been conducting this festival as Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavam on Ashada Sudda Shasti Day in the moth of June/July every year.
Programms during the annual Sakshatkara Vaibhaorsavam 2012.
On the first day Snapana Tirumanjanam in the morning and Unjal Seva in the evening
On the second day Hanuman Vahanam in the evening from 8pm onwards
On the Third day Garuda Vahanam in the evening from 8pm onwards
However before the annual Sakshatkara Vaibotsavam 2012 starts,the temple cleaning programme called Koil Alwar Tirumanjam will be on 21,June 2012 and Tirupavada Seva 2012 will be on 21 June,2012.During these three days all Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Arjita Kalyanotsavam have been cancelled.
