Lord An Introduction to Indian Scientific heritage

India is the land of spirituality, science and technology. India is also the land of many languages, customs and rituals. When all other civilizations and culture were vanished from the surface of the globe earth, India still remains with her glory. India was attacked, conquered, plundered and looted for many centuries by foreigners. Still India did not die. Indian heritage was destroyed before the independence by the invaders. After the independence, our own rulers destroyed it. Stil the process of destroying Indian culture and heritage is continuing…..
But with all the negatives faced by our motherland, she still serves the mankind with her Vedic messages, with the motherly love and affection, with the noble mantra that Sarve api sukhina santhu . Sarve santhu niraamaya. Sarve bhadraani pasyanthu, Maa kaschit dukhabhag bhavet. Let every one become happy, let everyone become free from diseases, let everyone live with glory, let not anyone suffer from pain…..
Bhadram karnebhi srunuyaama devaa: bhadram pasyema askhabhir yajathraa: sthirairangai sthushtuvamsa sthanoobhirvyasema deva hitam yathayu: Let us all hear the glorious news through our ears, let our eyes see glorious sights, let us all do divine and noble missions, through the body made of healthy organs….We never said haindavaa: samasthaa: sukhino bhavantu let all Hindus become happy.
We never said bharatheeya: smasthaa: sukhino bhavantu Let all Indians become happy. We always prayed to the almighty: lokaa: smasthaa: sukhino Bhavanthu Let all the people become happy
These are the few among thousands of Indian messages to the world. Like these Indian Rushies have given scientific messages also. A deep and most modern scientific knowledge also include in the list of great Indian contributions. In this book we are giving the abstracts of those scientific knowledge existed in ancient India .
We look forward for hearing your comments. In the service of the motherland, Bharath.

Lord What is Hindu culture

Why it is known as sanathana dharma?
Sanathana word means ( according to Bhagavath geetha) the one which cannot be destroyed by any method and the one which is ever existing in everything which is immovable and non perishable is the sanaathanam. So this dharma is ever existing and it cannot be destroyed . So it is sanaathanam.
Who created hinduism?
Thousands of Rishies, during the course of thousands of years could formulate a perfect style/way of thinking and practicing various aspects and concepts in the life. Those are codified as the customs and rituals or in short acharas. These acharas combined together form the dharma . Dharma is the way of life. So Hinduism is the way of life.
Why it is said that Hinduism is not a religion?
It is not created by an individual / prophet/ Rishi . So it is not the opinion (matham) or advise of an individual. So it is not a religion. It is the contribution of thousands of Rishies.
How are hindus defined?
Aa sindo sindu paryantham yasya bhartha bhoomikam maathru bhoo pitru bhoo schaiva sa vai hindu riti smruthaa:
Those who consider and respect the country which extends from Indus valley ( sindu river ) upto Indian ocean as their motherland, father land or holy land, they are the Hindus. ( all those consider Bhratham as their own mother/father/holy land they are the Hindus)
Who is Hindu ?
The puraanas tell that
Himalayam samaarabhya yaavath indu sarovaram tham deva nirmitham desam hindustanam prachakshathey. The nation which starts from Himalayas and ends in Indian ocean and which is created by the god is known as Hindustanam. And those who are living there are Hindus.
Who were/are the Aryans ?
The word Aryan does not mean any race or a group of people. It only means the scholarly people. You know arya vaidya sala, aryaavartham, aryavepu, aryaputra all meant for ‘scholarly’ meaning. During the last days of Maxmuller , he too commented strongly that, Aryan word has got nothing to do with a race.
In Vedas there are a number of places where the Arya word is used as “krunvantho viswam aryam = let us make the world a glorious one. "Srunvanthu viswe amruthasya putraa aaye dhamaani divyaani thasthu = the children of immortals, Let us come together and chant the great songs. Here too the message is Arya. Every wife , in olden days, use to call her husband of royal family as aryaputra.

Lord The Law of Karma

What is the Law of Karma

Karma in its broadest sense, means what you sow is what you reap or what you give is what you receive. It is the law of cause and effect in every aspect of life, as applied to individual, family, or a nation.

For the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again- Luke6:38 (Bible)

Just as a farmer plants a certain kind of seed and gets a certain crop, so it is with good and bad deeds- Mahabharata

Thou shalt receive requital and reward in just return for whatsoever thou dost- Koran

The law of Karma is unbreakable whether we accept it or not it is existing. We can never claim that we are experiencing bad effects without reasons, we may be good persons in this life, but we are ignorant of the deeds we did in the past lifes. Do not do unto others what you would not have them do unto you. If you do not want to be cheated, then treat others honestly and fairly. If you have worked out most of your negative karma and have not done anybody any harm, then you have nothing to fear anymore.

How to Neutralize negative Karma

Do spiritual practices like meditation, Mantra japa and Prayer. Meditate and try to learnt the lesson that is to be learned from that particular effect and make

firm resolution to do right thing.

Pray for the mercy and forgiveness of god or SatGuru. Show mercy to all

Give ten percent of your income to charity for your rest of life.

Forgive others, you will be forgiven. Do not hate anyone even if one hurts you.

Hating anyone will certainly harm yourself. Mentally visualize forgiving your enemies even if you are in a stage to physically friendly with them. Repeat this whole things as long as necessary and as long as one feels an inner feeling of mercy anf forgiveness.

Principle behind the Law

The law of Karma is based on the Principle of ‘Spiritual oneness’, whatever a person does to others he does to himself.

Spiritually, the cause set within the inner world will inevitably materialize physically unless a neutralizing factor(positive karma) is set in motion.

This is called the Law of Karma.

By killing or hurting other people, one is doing it to oneself many many times. The negative karma effect will inevitably manifest.

By giving and sharing generously one will be blessed with great abundance and prosperity. By giving and sharing, one is actually giving to oneself many many times.

This positive karma will inevitably manifest. May be you reject these words as nonsense, but understand that universal laws exists whether you believe or not.

For example we all know Law of Gravity exists, If you fall from a height, whether you are a good person or bad person, you hit the ground.

This is the meaning of the statements “Dharmo rakshati rakshita- Dharma protects those who protects it” & “My righteousness is my shield”.
