It travels from west to east of 1312KM through three states starting at Amarkantak, Madhyapradesh, Maharastra and emptied into the sea in Bharuch city,Gujarat It is the one of only three rivers flows from west to east along with Tapati river and Mahi river and is the largest west flowing river in India.
