Dashavathara sthuthi. Dasavatara stuti. Dasavathara sthuti
Dasavathara means Ten Important divine incarnations taken by the God to maintain and protect darma. The sthuthi is meant to praise Vishnu by chanting the all ten avatara names and their importance. it is said that the ten incarnations by vishu is symbolically says the evolution of living beings. though the vishnus avataras are innumerable generaly they are classified into ten. Puranas says, do not consider that the god takes only ten avataras to protect nature, divine incarnations are countless!.
1. Matsya, the fish-avatar who saved Manu - the progeniter of mankind from the great deluge and rescued the Vedic scriptures by killing a demon
2. Kurma, the tortoise-avatar, who helped in the Samudra manthan - the churning of the ocean
3. Varaha, the boar-avatar, who rescued the earth from the ocean, by killing her kidnapper-demon Hiranyaksha
4. Narasimha, the half man-half lion avatar, who killed the tyrant demon-king Hiranyakashipu, to rescue the demon's son Prahlada, who was a Vishnu-devotee
5. Vamana, the dwarf-avatar, who defeated the demon-king Bali
6. Parashurama, sage with the axe who killed the thousand-armed king Kartavirya Arjuna
7. Rama, the king of Ayodhya and the hero of the Hindu epic Ramayana
8. Krishna, the king of Dwarka, a central character in the Bhagavata Purana and the Mahabharata and reciter of Bhagavad Gita

9. Gautama Buddha

10. Kalki ("Eternity", or "time", or "The Destroyer of foulness"), who is expected to appear at the end of Kali Yuga.
Scientific meaning of avatara concept can be explained through the simple theory in chemistry.
"Whenever a closed system in equilibrium experience disturbance inside, the system itself adjust to overcome the change"
That is, our nature itself is a closed system, it has a way of working , dharma is the key thing which lead nature and protect living beings each other, if dharma is lost, everything lost and to protect dharma god, the super conscious mind or the universal mind has to take birth.
