Lord Sri SivaPrabhakara siddhayogi with Amma

Prabhakara Siddha Yogi enjoyed living as an avadhuta on this earth and did not want to waste time between births or in growing up after each birth, and so when one body became old and weak, he would just leave it, entering into another "ready-made" one! He had moved like this in and out of many bodies. Hearing about him, Amma had a desire to see such a being and therefore simply thought of him. The next day he arrived at her house.
"Did you call me here?" he inquired.
"Yes. How did you know?" Amma asked him.
"I saw an effulgent light on my mental screen yesterday i understood that you wanted to see me, and so I have come," he said.
Now this avadhuta had a very bad reputation for troubling women. Stripping off his clothes, he would run after and try to catch the, regardless of the consequences. When he was criticized for this, he said, "What do I care for earthly ladies? At all times I am surrounded by a bevy of celestial damsels worshiping me! Is it my fault if you can't see them?" One day he said to his followers, "I am feeling a little bit of ego in my body. I think something should be done to get rid of it." He then went to a nearby village, inquired where the Superintendent of Police lived, and went to his house. After knocking on the front door, he stood there waiting. Finally, the wife of the policeman came to the door. The avadhuta caught her in a bear hug! Of course, this did not go over very well with her husband, who took hold of him and beat him up to his heart's content. He then locked them up and had one of his arms broken. Mysteriously, the yogi disappeared from the jail the next day and was found in another place, sound in all limbs. Because of such conduct, whenever he entered a village, the women locked themselves behind closed doors and the men folk beat him or chased him away. If the reader wonder why a yogi should act in this manner, Mother would say that only those in his state can know! The explanation cannot be understood from the ordinary person's viewpoint. He is not identified with a body and is totally detached from this world. His viewpoint is quite inconceivable for us who are still asleep in this dream of illusion.
True to his nature, the yogi tried to catch hold of Mother, who was in her early twenties at the time. She immediately caught his hand in an iron grip and said, "Don't you know who I am? I knew your father, your grandfather and your great grandfather!"
"Oh yes, You are the Divine Mother Kali Herself. In the future, people will come from all corners of the earth to this holy place for Your darshan!" the yogi replied with a blissful smile on his face. The Mother then gave him an affectionate hug and he went into samadhi for a long time. Even though she considered him as one who was established in the Transcendental State of Bliss and thus had a high regard for him, she nonetheless felt that his presence and example would exert a bad influence on the spiritual children who were to come to her in the future. She therefore made a resolve that he should not come back for a long time, and in fact, he was not seen at the Mother's Ashram for many years to come. It was during the celebration of his three-hundredth birthday that he decided to leave his present body. He called his followers together and told them only one thing: that they should go to Vallickavu and tell Mother Kali that he had gone. Such was his respect and love for Mother
