Tuesday 18-9-2012Ankurarpanam Festival celebrated at Srivari Temple,Tirumala on Monday,17-9-2012 and marked a prelude to the Nine-Day Annual Salakatla Brahmotavams starts from 18-9-2012 to 26-9-2012.
Wednesday 15-8-2012 TTD has been made mandatory to sign in the Declaration Form for the Pilgrims belonging to various faiths other than Hinduism and visiting the Tirumala Shrine to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy.This procedure came into effect from 13-8-2012 onwards. Non Hindus who have faith in Lord Venkateswara should sign in Declaration Forms in Triplicate which are available at 1) Vaikuntum Q-Complex, 2) JEO office, 3) Peshkar Office, and 4) all sub-enquiry offices in Tirumala
Date:8-8-20121)Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams TTD has launched new srivari seva known as PARAKAMANI SEVA on august 7,2012. This seva will commence in Sri Srivari Temple,Tirumala from August 17,2012 onwards. Initially this new seva is applicable to only to Andhrapradesh, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Kerala states and is limited to first 50 persons who register online on first in first out basis.
Know about Online Registration Procedure Date:31-7-20121) TTD has changed Darshan Timings slots for Physically Handicapped and Aged group Pilgrims.As per the new schedule the pilgrims belonging to these categories will be allowed for darshan in three different time slots in every day at 10:00am,3:00pm and 10:00pm[Previously at four time slots 10am,3pm,6pm and 10pm pilgrims were allowed for darshan]. The new schedule will come into effect from 1-Aug-2012 onwards.

1) TTD has been performed the annual festival Chatrasthapanotsavam at Narayanagiri Hill with religious pomp and gaiety in tirumala on 30-7-2012(second day of Lord Venkateswara Pavitrotsavam). It is believed that Lord Venkateswara Swamy first landed on this Narayanagiri hill before entering into the Srivari Temple.The Narayanagiri hill is the highest point of seven hills in Tirumala.
On the occasion of Chatrasthapanotsavam festival, a new umbrella was taken to the narayanagiri hills and special pujas have been performed to Srivari Padalu(Holy feet of Lord Venkateswara Swamy).

What is the Significance of Pavitrotsavam ?Date: 16-7-20121) TTD annual festival salakatla Annivara Asthanam is performed in the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara Swamy on july 16,2012. On the occassion of this festival PUSHPA PALLAKI seva will be performed in the evening. Lord Malayappa Swamy and his two consorts are taken out in procession in four temple streets.

2) TTD released Posters for the annual Pavitrotsavam of Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple at Tirupati which will be conducted from 14-Jul-2012 to 16-Jul-2012.
Date 25-6-20121) TTD annual Sakshatkara Vaibhavam began at Srinivasa Mangapuram Temple near tirupati on 24-6-2012.Temple Priests performed SNAPANA TIRUMANJANAM (Celestial Bath) to the processional deities from 9:00am to 10:30am inside the temple premises.In the evening deities of Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy along with his consorts taken out in procession on Golden Tiruchi around four temple streets.Devotees and Pilgrims have taken part in large number.
2) The annual brahmotsavams of Sri Chenna Kesava Swamy, Sri Siddewara Swamy will begin from June 29,2012 to July 9,2012 in Tallapaka located in cuddapah district.
Date:23-6-20121) TTD Kareeri Isthi Yagam began with Sankalpam on June 22,2012 chanting of Vedic Hymns by 21 Vedic Scholars.This ritual will be performed every day between 8:30am to 12:00pm.Veda Parayanam will take place every day from 4pm to 6pm.This yagam is also known as Varuna Yagam to invoke Varun God (Rain God) for good rains for the prosperity of State and Country.
