Lord Special Entry Darshan Tirumala - Seegra Darshan Timings Tirumala

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has introduced Special Entry Darshan Facility from 21-Sep-2009 to provide Quick Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy for the Pilgrims. The cost of the ticket is Rs300.00. The tickets will be issued at Vaikunta Queue Complex -I in a separate queue line with four counters.The Pilgrims will be allowed directly for darshan after taking tickets.Special Entry Darshan tickets will be issued on all days.

Lord TTD Vaikunta Ekadasi 2012 Festival Celebrations at Tirumala - Vaikunta Ekadasi 2012 Date December 23,2012

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam TTD will be celebrating Vaikunta Ekadasi Festival from December 22,2012 (Saturday)  to December 24,2012 (Monday) at Tirumala. TTD will be made special arrangements for Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vaikunta Darshan through Vaikunta Gate (Dwaram in Telugu) on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi and Vaikunta Dwadasi which falls on December 23,2012 (Sunday) and December 24,2012(Monday) respectively.

In the 2012 year calender, first time Vaikunta Ekadasi had already occured on Jaunary 5,2012 and second time Vaikunta Ekadasi will be on December 23,2012.

Note: During the Vaikunta Ekadasi Festival celebrations for 3 days from 22-12-2012 to 24-12-2012, TTD will cancel all Arjitha Sevas at tirumala.

Lord TTD Annual Seva Jyestha Abhishekam Tirumala - Jyestha Purnima 2012

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams TTD performs Jyestha Abhishekam every year on the days of  Chaturdasi, Purnami and Padyami  in the month of Jyestha Masam(Month). In this year 2012, TTD will be celebrated the auspicious Jyestha Abhishekam on 3-Jun-2012 (Sunday-Chatudasi),4-Jun-2012 (Monday-Purnami) and 5-Jun-2012 (Tuesday-Padyami).

Significance of Jyestha Abhishekam :

The Jyestha Abhishekam is also known as Abhideyaka Abhishekam.This is a three festival. The essential purpose of the Jyestha Abhishekam is to protect the Utsava Deities - Sri Malayappa Swamy,Goddess Sridevi and Goddess Bhudevi, from damage which might occur during Processions and  Tirumanjanam through various Pujas and  Mantras on these three days.The festival is held in the Kalyanamadam in a solemn manner.

On the first day Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy along with Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi is brought to the Kalyana mandapam in the Sampingi Pradakshina and performs Abhishekam and Snapana Tirumanjanam with Pachamritams comprising Milk,Curd,Honey,Sandal Paste and Turmeric after removing Golden Armour on Lord Malayappa Swamy. Later Vajrakavacham (Diamond Kavacham) is adorned to the deities and they are taken out for Procession along the temple streets.

On the second day after performing the Abhishekam and Snapana Tirumanjanam to the deities,adorned with Pearl-studded Kavacham (Coat of Pearls[Mutyalu]) and taken out in procession in the temple streets.

On the third day also after performing the Abhishekam and Snapana Tirumanjanam to Lord Malayappa Swamy,Goddess Sridevi and Bhudevi,decorated with Golden Kavacham and takes for procession.

To aim to propagate Bhakti among people Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams TTD has decided to conduct Sri Srinivasa Kalyanams across the globe. As a part of it recently on Feb 25, 2012  at Khatmandu, capital of Nepal and from May 06,2012 to June 02,2012 in seven cities of USA TTD was organised Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam. Lakhs of devotees witnessed the Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy Kalyana Vaibhovotsavam.
In continuation of it TTD will be going to celebrate Sri Srinivasa (Lord Balaji) Kalyanam in five cities of CANADA which starts from November 3,2012 to November 18,2012
