Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams TTD has organised Purohit Sangam to Perform Marriages at Tirumala. Pilgrims desiring to perform marriages at tirumala should approach purohita sangam in advance for booking marriage cottages,purohits and other articles. Lord TTD Annual Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavam 2012 Srinivasa Mangapuram -Tirupati

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam TTD has all set to celebrate the Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavam at the temple of Lord Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy in Srinivas Mangapuram from June 24,2012 to June 26,2012 in a grand way.Every year this annual festival will be celebrated on Ashada Sudda Shasti Day (June/July) for three days.

Significance of Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavam:

According to Historical evidences , dated 22nd March 1540A.D.the Temple was brought to Worship by doing Jeernodaara by Chinni Thirumalacharyulu, the grandson of great saint Sri Talapaka Annamacharylu. In 1940A.D. an Archaka Swamulu by name Sundararaju from Tamilnadu to Srinivasa Mangapuram. He shared his dream with villagers by saying that in his dream Lord Vekateswara Swamy appeared and asked him to bring the temple to Past Vaibhavam(glorious) by performing Deepa Naivedya Aaradhana and Lord disppeared. As per the Lord words, Archaka Swami Sundaraju performed first pooja on July 1940 which was coincided on Ashada Suddu Shasti Day with the help of village elders.To mark the auspicious day of revival of Nitya Pooja Kaikaryam, TTD has been conducting this festival as Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavam on Ashada Sudda Shasti Day in the moth of June/July every year.

On the second day Hanuman Vahanam in the evening from 8pm onwards

On the Third day Garuda Vahanam in the evening from 8pm onwards

However before the annual Sakshatkara Vaibotsavam 2012 starts,the temple cleaning programme called Koil Alwar Tirumanjam will be on 21,June 2012 and Tirupavada Seva 2012 will be on 21 June,2012.During these three days all Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Arjita Kalyanotsavam have been cancelled.

Lord TTD Kareeri Isthi Yagam Begins from June 22 to June 26,2012 -Tirumala

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam TTD will perform Kareeri Isthi Yagam(also known as Varuna Yagam) from June 22,2012 to June 26,2012 in Tirumala.TTD has been making elaborate arrangements to conduct Kareeri Isthi Yagam to appease Rain God(Lord Varun) for good rains for the prosperity of the state and the country.

TTD has been performing this yagam since 2005 for blessings and for Good Rains from Lord Varun.This Yagam is a Five-Day ritual will take place at Gobargham Teertham near Paruveta Madapam in the abode of Lord Venkateswara,Tirumala and this Yagam will be performed from 8:00am to 12:00pm during these five days.

Significance of Kareeri Isthi Yagam

The significance of the Kareeri Isthi Yagam is that since Vedic age,the Sages and Ritwiks used to perform this ritual with utmost devotion for blessing from Lord Varun(Rain God). The Uniqueness of this ritual is that the every item used in this Yagam is in Krishna Varna(Black Colour) including the dresses Ritwiks performing the Yagam. In this ritual the rice cooked in Bamboo,the horse and ram and every material will be black in colour as the Homa(Homam in Telugu) invokes black clouds to shower Good Rains.The Yagam will be perform with Vedic Experts.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams TTD has launched new srivari seva known as PARAKAMANI SEVA on august 7,2012. This seva will commence in Sri Srivari Temple,Tirumala from August 17,2012 onwards. Initially this new seva is applicable to only to Andhrapradesh, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Kerala states and is limited to first 50 persons who register online on first in first out basis. It is a Golden opportunity that has offered by TTD to serve Lord Venkateswara Swamy.

What is Parakamani

Parakamani is an activity where accounting of the offerings made by the pilgrims to Lord Venkateswara Swamy through Srivari Hundi @ tirumala includes Coins,Currecies,Precious items,Jewellery etc., is being done on a day-to-day basis in Srivari Temple. At present TTD is carrying out this service with its own employees.

Objective of PARAKAMANI SEVA 

TTD is a premier Hindu Religious Institution acting as a custodian of world renowed temple of Lord Venkateswara or Lord Balaji since its inception in 1933. Today the annual budget of TTD has touched the 2000cr mark. Over 1/3 of the major part of revenue to TTD comes in the form of offerings made by Pilgrims through Srivari Hundi. To speed up the process and accuracy in the Parakamani(Currency Counting System) at Srivari Temple, TTD has launched the PARAKAMANI SEVA. TTD has invited Working or retired employees of Central or State Goverment or Quasi government or PSU or Insurance and Banking Sectors to participate in this new seva purely on voluntary basis. Pilgrims or devotees can apply online for Parakamani Seva and they will be nomenclature as " Parakamani Sevakulu "

Eligibilty Criteria to participate in PARAKAMANI SEVA

1.Pilgrims or Devotees should be Working or retired employees of Central or State Goverment or Quasi government or PSU or Insurance and Banking Sector.

2.Only Male Devotees aged between 35years to 65years practicing Hinduism alone.

About Tallapaka Annamaiah in Brief:
Tallapaka Annamaiah was born on Vaisaka Sudda Pournami 1408 in the year Sarwadari.His wife Thimmakka who had written SUBHADRA KALYANAM. They have only son Pedda Tirumalacharya and their grandson was Tallapaka Chinnaya and both are poets and composers.
The unstinting devotion of Tallapaka Annamaiah for the Lord Venkateswara Swamy with a pristine heart and his efforts to immortalise his Bhakti through the composition of 32,000 songs in vernacular Telugu has made him Padakavitha Pitamaha.

To aim to propagate Bhakti among people TTD will decide to conduct Sri Srinivasa Kalyanams across the globe. As a part of it recently on Feb 25, 2012 TTD was organised Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam at Khatmandu capital of Nepal.Two lakh piligrims witnessed Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam. 

Now TTD decided to conduct Srinivasa Kalyanam at various places in USA.

Lord TTD Annual Srivari Vasanthotsavam 2012

TTD will be conducted Srivari Vasanthotsavam for the year 2012 from 4-4-2012 to 6-4-2012.Every year Vasanthotsavam is being organized for three days in the month of Chaitra Masam (March/April) on the days of Thrayodasi,Chaturdasi and Pournami.On all these days Sri Malayappa Swamy and his consorts are taken round in procession and brought to Vasanta Mandapam. In Vasanta Mandapam Abhisekham is performed to Srivaru and Ammavaru. On the third day Sri Rama with Sita,Lakshmana and Anjaneya and SriKrishna with Rukmini and Satyabhama are also taken round in procession and brought to vasanta mandapam.
